| This was pretty straightforward, I used a level to make sure they were straight, but otherwise the directions are fine. A few hints: On the brake pedal, the shaft that connects the pedal to the car is in kind of a bad place, I centered the new pedal, but when I started to drill I realized I was going to drill right into the shaft. You have to move the pedal a bit off center to the left to miss it. This is not noticeable at all, so no problem. On the footrest, the existing screw is removed and reused, which makes things a bit easier. I guess if you don't like where that centers it you could leave that screw in and drill a new hole, they include enough screws, but it works out perfectly this way, in my opinion. Lastly, on the footrest and gas pedal, don't over tighten the screws, just snug them up. You don't want to strip out the holes, it is just plastic. Oh, and with the gas pedal, I lined up the bottom right flush with the existing pedal (the curve, bottom and right side are all flush). This seems to put the pedal at the proper level, and prevents it from hitting the floor and limiting your pedal throw. Hey, for 60 bucks or so, I think they look rather good. |
